Our commitment
Accessibility and Inclusion policy. At Surrey & Hampshire Mobile Barber, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive barbering service for all clients, including those who are elderly, vulnerable, or living with disabilities.
Our goal is to make personal grooming accessible, comfortable, and dignified for everyone.
Our approach
We aim to remove barriers by:
- Offering home, hospital, and care-home visits to clients who cannot travel easily.
- Allowing extra time for appointments to ensure comfort and calm pacing.
- Bringing portable, adaptable equipment suitable for wheelchair users and limited spaces.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment in every visit.
- Communicating with patience, clarity, and respect for all individual needs.
Accessibility and communication
We welcome clients with hearing, visual, mobility, or sensory challenges.

If you have specific accessibility needs (for example, assistance entering a room, please let us know in advance and we will make all reasonable adjustments.
Staff training and safeguarding
- All staff are DBS checked and fully insured.
- We follow UK safeguarding standards for working with vulnerable adults.
- We keep up to date with best practices for inclusion, communication, and hygiene.
