About Surrey & Hampshire Mobile Barber

Surrey & Hampshire Mobile Barber was founded in 2022 to make professional haircuts easier to access for adult gentlemen who prefer, or need, an appointment in familiar surroundings. We specialise in visiting private homes, care homes and supported-living settings across selected parts of Surrey and Hampshire.

The business was inspired by the difficulties many people experienced during the Covid-19 pandemic. Travelling to a busy barbershop can be challenging for an older gentleman, someone with limited mobility or anyone who finds unfamiliar environments stressful. Our mobile service brings the barbering equipment to the client, helping make appointments more comfortable and convenient.

Experience and a personal approach

Our founder, Laura, has more than 19 years of barbering experience and a background in caring for older people. We understand that clients may need clear communication, patience and time to settle before a haircut. Wherever practical, we adapt our approach to individual comfort and accessibility needs, while respecting each gentleman’s preferences and dignity.

We provide traditional and modern gentlemen’s haircuts, including straightforward tidy-ups for clients who want to look well-groomed without travelling. Appointments are available for adults at home and for groups of residents in care homes and similar settings. Sorry, we don’t do skin fades.

Where we work and how to book

Based in Aldershot, we serve approved locations across Surrey and Hampshire, including Farnborough, Farnham, Ash, Fleet and surrounding areas. Availability and prices depend on the postcode and appointment type.
