These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by Surrey & Hampshire Mobile Barber (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By booking an appointment with us by phone, text, or email, you agree to these Terms.
Bookings
- Appointments are arranged and confirmed once a date, time, and location are agreed.
- Availability is offered on a first-come basis.
- Clients should provide accurate address and access information to ensure safe, timely arrival.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or change an appointment.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged at the full rate if a replacement booking cannot be filled.
- If we must cancel due to illness, emergency, or travel issues, we will offer the next available slot or a full refund if payment was taken in advance.
Pricing and payment
- Prices are confirmed at booking and may vary by location and service type.
- Payment is due at the end of each appointment by cash, bank transfer, or agreed method.
- Travel beyond our normal service area (15-mile radius from Aldershot) may incur an additional charge.
Service conditions
- Services are delivered in the client’s home, care home, or similar environment.
- The client (or carer) must ensure there is safe access, adequate lighting, and a suitable workspace.
- We reserve the right to decline service if conditions are unsafe, unhygienic, or unsuitable.
Accessibility and care
We specialise in working with vulnerable, elderly, and disabled clients and will make reasonable adjustments for comfort and safety.
Please share any accessibility or medical considerations when booking so we can adapt our service appropriately.
Health, safety, and hygiene
- All tools are disinfected between clients, and disposable items are used where appropriate.
- We comply with UK health and safety and infection-control standards.
- We are DBS checked and fully insured.
Liability
We take every precaution to provide safe and professional service.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from:
- Pre-existing scalp or skin conditions not disclosed before service.
- Accidents or hazards outside our control at the client’s premises.
Personal data
Client details are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Complaints and feedback
If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, contact us within 48 hours so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version will always appear on our website.
